Chocolate Brownie Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

1 15-ounce can no-salt-added black beans, rinsed
2 tablespoons peanut butter (or other nut butter)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, preferably dark
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of cinnamon
1/3 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 F. Blend black beans, peanut butter, and butter in a food processor until beans are pureed. Add flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon and mix until a dough forms.

Stir in chocolate chips by hand and spoon onto baking sheet in 1 tablespoon size drops. Bake for 10 minutes until firm.
