A Holiday Wish For You

You know that moment when the sun is about to come up and every one else is asleep?

Holiday Wish

There are birds chirping and the view looks cleaner, newer, and fresher. That moment is the one I try to catch for about 5 seconds in my day.

I caught that moment in this photo of a snow storm a few years ago. The snow was sticky and it made the most amazingly peaceful scenery, don't you think?

I opened my window on the second floor, put my hand with my camera outside, took the picture, and then my children came bouncing into my room. Moment gone (but captured).

My wish for you is that you get a couple moments of peace for yourself during this holiday, however you celebrate it.

Merry Christmas Lisa. Thank You for the photo, it's beautiful. It reminds me of my wife and kids back home, just a little north of Spokane, during this time of year. Our back yard looks lust like that but with bigger pine trees. I'm currently in Kuwait saving all the recipes that sound good to me and some that the kids wouid like. I can't wait to try some of them when I get back home.
