Jewels of junk food with added peanuts

Aren't they lovely? A cousin to M&M's, Peanut M&M's sit there in the candy aisle with the yellow wrapper. If you like both which do you choose? Well, you will get more nutritional bang for your buck with the Peanut M&M's.
Why? Because they have protein (8% of your daily allowance) and if you are hungry, this protein will help satiate you. They also have the same amount of calories as regular M&M's.
Because they have nuts they also have other nutritional properties that the package doesn't reveal. Peanuts are really good for you - so this is a nice way to get some nutrition and have a treat.
Keep in mind that a package is 240 calories, and 10 Peanut M&M's are under 100 calories. Do not approach a large bowl of them and think you can eat just 10. No one has that kind of will power (I mean NO ONE).
Peanut M&M's are also a great little treat for kids because you can give them a few (instead of the whole package) for a job well done.
