My Favorite Post Workout Snack With Silk Soymilk
March 27, 2015 Jump to Recipe
I am seriously hungry after my Spinning class but it isn’t time for lunch yet.

The best snacks combine a fruit or vegetable with a source of protein. Silk® soymilk is a good dairy-free source of protein. It is made from plants, it tastes good and it is naturally low in saturated fat.
This smoothie is under 200 calories and has over 5 grams of protein to help you feel satisfied between meals.
Strawberries are inexpensive right now – hurray spring! – so don’t hesitate to use them. I added chia seeds because they are nutritious and they act as a thickening agent. My daughter, who frequently tries to drink my smoothies, commented that she thought this tasted like a milkshake.
You don’t need a Vitamix to make this – just use a regular blender.
