No Time to Bake Cookies? White Chocolate Popcorn Saves the Day

December 17, 2014   26 Comments

I am sure you have plenty of time on your hands right now. I can tell because so many of you are taking the time to read Snack Girl.

White Chocolate Popcorn

Ahem.

December is my worst month and no one reads what I have to say. I could just let my dog type – sjjekdiguhe- THANK YOU, MILO! – and be done.

I am a persistent person so I don’t hide in a hole. I think (deeply) about the type of assistance I can provide.

Here is my answer to: “Bring a holiday dish to FILL IN THE BLANK (school, work, church, your gym…)”

White chocolate popcorn!!! Take 2 minutes to pop the corn - another minute to melt the white chocolate - mix them together – toss them in a container and everyone will think you are the BEST.

Four minutes later you are out the door.

You can use a bag of popcorn that you pop in a microwave. Avoid the “butter” flavored ones. Or you can pop it yourself on the stove or in a microwave in a paper bag.

Give it a try (and let me know if you like it).

I'll be making this to take to the couch. Sounds delish!

This sounds wonderfully easy, and delicious. Best of all, if I skip the colored sprinkles, my little one can eat it with Trader joe's chocolate chips! (We can't do artificial colors in our house :-)

I love reading your daily blogs. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful information you have.

Merry Christmas!

Sounds good to ME!!!

Have a Great Holiday ..

My granddaughters will love this with the sprinkles! Thank you for all your wonderful ideas! Have a very merry Christmas!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I will be doing this TONIGHT! Perfect solution for last-minute gifts!!

Quick (silly) question: If popping on the stove, do you add salt? Wondering if the little bit of salt would make the sweet even better?!?

This is freaking brilliant. All those little gifts I need to give to the mailman, trash guy, neighbors, teachers...DONE! Thank you!

@Melissa - yes, a little bit of salt would be super yummy. I should have included that in the recipe.

Thanks for your question!

Great! Thank you!!

Thanks!!! I love this and need it today!! I'm glad you did this, not Milo!! Lol

One word.....YUM!

I am an x owner of a cookie company and I will say that White Chocolate is not chocolate and its not good for you. Full of stuff thats not chocolate. That's why it melts so easily. I say use REAL Chocolate! Tastes better and MUCH better for you!

Thanks! I needed a very quick treat for my dieting friends!
