A Whole New Kind of Yogurt: Introducing Yulu Aussie Style
January 16, 2015
Snack Girl loves her yogurt and was thrilled to be sent a new brand to try.
Yulu yogurt is inspired by an authentic Australian recipe so it isn’t a new Greek, Swiss, or Icelandic variety. This yogurt – like my husband – was designed in Australia.
And, like my husband, it is now here in the USA. Yulu yogurt is not made in Australia (it is made here in the USA). My husband also hangs out here (because he likes it and I won't let him leave).
You are going to want yulu to stay, too, because it is delicious.
This yogurt has 9 grams of protein per serving and is extra creamy and luscious versus Greek yogurts which tend to have a chalky consistency.
I loved the vanilla flavor and found myself mixing in some extras to make a whole breakfast for those speedy mornings:
Here is yulu with blueberries:
I found some fresh ones on sale in the grocery store even though it is winter. Two for one!! Get ‘em while you can.
yulu with granola:
I love adding a CRUNCH to yogurt and a low-sugar granola is a wonderful way to add it. Toss in some almonds and walnuts, too!
yulu with apple:
This combines the fresh fruit idea with the CRUNCH. The vanilla flavor was wonderful with the apple. It felt like a special treat.
