Grab and go breakfast ideas are a specialty of mine because I am usually running around with my hair on fire in the morning.

Grab and Go Breakfast Ideas

Sure, I want to wake up with a zen like calm and open my eyes to the beautiful dawn sunshine with deep breathing but I can’t seem to get there.

Instead, I am finding library books, cleaning up spills, excavating for shoes, and fighting off my dog (that wants HIS walk).

Below are nine healthy grab and go breakfast ideas for those who think a little bit ahead. I store muffins in the freezer and reheat them in the microwave.

What do you make for your rushed mornings? Please share.

For quite a while now my husband and I make up breakfast burritos on the weekend and freeze for the coming week. We use 1 package of Simply Potato Southwest hashbrowns, 1 lb Jennie-O 93/7 ground turkey with Breakfast Sausage Seasoning (Penzey's) and 10 eggs that I scramble. We mix all that together and use 1/2 cup (or a bit more) along with a sprinkle of cheese and some salsa on tortillas that are 85 calories each (Azteca). We fold them up, put them in fold top baggies and put the finished burritos in a large zip lock bag into the freezer. Pull one out each night before bed and the next morning microwave for about 2 minutes. Yum! I'm not sure on how many Smart Points but they are about 250 calories each. Not bad I don't think.

Thanks for the idea Amanda.

Me Late Nights/Morning Tend To Overlap Each Other. The Most Recent 12 A. M. Popcorn Dean's Ranch Dip. 1/2 Serv. Cauliflower. Vitamin Water Zero. Water. Alcohol Either Spiced Rum Else Gin. Grains Depend Upon How Much Earlier Liquid Either Cheezit Else Something With More Fiber.

4 A. M. Thing Whole Grain Either Multi Whole Grain Bread Else Quinoa Else Brown Rice And A Protein (Either Korean BBQ Chicken (Deli ) Else A Hard Boiled Egg Else Vienna Sausages Else A Weiner. Vitamin Water Zero.

2 slices of entire-grain bread, lightly toasted, crowned with smashed avocado and a sprinkling of salt and pepper makes for a flavorful and rich base. Top that with sunny-facet-up eggs for a wholesome dose of protein, and you've got got a well-rounded breakfast.

I am checking regularly this page because there is many good recipe available hope I see more

Great breakfast suggestions! I eat the same old boring thing every morning and am so glad to have these ideas.

My standby in-the-car breakfast is Oroweat whole wheat toast with half a tablespoon of Simply Jif and a cup of 2% milk. Not chic, but 12 g of complementary proteins for 270 calories, even fewer for lower-fat milk.
