11 Healthy BBQ Sides That Will Steal the Show

June 17, 2023   4 Comments

Healthy BBQ sides are not hard to make because of all the great summer produce.

Healthy BBQ Sides

All we need is a little push to get away from the potato salads, coleslaws, and pasta salads that are delicious but heavy. Most barbecues are featuring seasonal favorites such as hot dogs, hamburgers, and ribs.

Do you really need to add a hefty side?

I hope you are inspired to try something new this year. I love the kale Caesar on this list because it holds up much better than a romaine salad.

Let me know if you try any of these and please share your favorites healthy BBQ side in the comment section.

Lisa, I have made your broccoli apple salad which was so good, and the cauliflower potato salad which was good also and really enjoyed your roasted tomatoes with garlic..

Some people say you should chill the grilled watermelon before serving. I notice you don’t mention that. Do you chill it?

@Angela - I eat it hot off the grill. But, I could see that chilled would be good as well. Thanks for your question!

Would the roasted summer squash work in the air fryer?
