The orchards here in Western Massachusetts are laden with apples. It is a dreamy time of year to be in New England.

Apple Recipes For Fall

Even if you live in West Palm Beach, it is time to eat some apples.

Here on Snack Girl, I have featured a bunch of apple based snacks to keep you from getting bored with apples. My personal favorite is the "Naked Pie" because I don't have to make a pastry crust to create an apple pie! You also avoid the 8 tablespoons of butter in the crust.

Here are ten Snack Girl apple favorites - all are HEALTHY and fun ways to serve apples:

Thanks for the great recipes! I live up in the Merrimack Valley and the temps are in the 40's. Good day to bake healthy apple recipes. Your posts are so welcome and chock full of great healthy snacks!!! I do miss my donuts though.. LOL

I am going to make the muffins for sure. For breakfast I had apples & walnuts. I mix honey and mayo together and mix it with the fruit and nuts. So good and filling.

I got half a peck of a new variety from the University of Minnesota (which created many popular varieties, like the honeycrisp) at the farmer's market on Sunday, and yesterday I cut up a small one and used half of it with 1/3 c. rolled oats, 2/3 c. water, and a little salt; microwave for 2 mins, stirring in the middle. let cool and add 1 tsp. brown sugar. easy and delicious! while you wait for it to cook, eat the other half of the apple.

If you live in MA there's a good chance that apple picking is a part of your fall family tradition. Of course, it usually means that you have more apples than you know what to do with! Thanks for sharing these recipes!
