Healthy apple recipes are so simple to create. The apple is such a perfect fruit – sweet, crunchy, and it bakes well.

Healthy Apple Recipes

My part of the country features apples everywhere! In my backyard, driving to my children’s school, in the stores, farmers markets, and roadside stands. I can’t get enough apples and I will be swimming in them for months.

You really can’t beat a fresh apple. I hope the rest of the country can get their hands on some fall apples.

I periodically make the Healthy Apple Crisp - when I'm wanting something sweet but not over-the-top. I've also enjoyed the waffle apples - they are so sweet! The Swedish Apple Pie looks great - will be giving that a try. I always like your apple "round-up"

Thanks so much for these recipes! I pinned a number of them!

Don’t forget applesauce and apple butter. You don’t need to add sugar to make them. Applesauce is great with low fat cottage cheese or a topping for oatmeal, pancakes or waffles. Apple butter is nice on whole grain toast and pancakes and waffles.
